2010-04(April)-09: Canon Professional Services für Anwenderprofis - CPS |
Canon Europa reformiert "Canon Professional Services (CPS)"
The improved and re-launched Canon Professional Services (CPS) programme that offers an even more extensive after-sales support and information system for professional photographers and videographers is now operational. The previous CPS programme had been in existence for over 15 years and offered professional users of Canon products exclusive, free access to a range of benefits - including CPS support teams at many international and local events, a priority repair service, and direct support from Canon Professional Representatives in selected European countries. The newly improved CPS service was developed in consultation with the existing CPS community and remains free to qualifying Canon photographers and videographers. It now operates on a three-tier basis to provide a programme that’s more accessible, more responsive, more informative and is tailor-made to the needs of individual CPS members. The new-style Canon Professional Services now offers more reliable support and information to qualifying professional photographers and videographers across Europe. The introduction of the multiple levels of membership is designed to allow for a greater number of professional photographers to qualify for the benefits of CPS support.
The CPS system now offers three types of membership to professional photographers, plus a CPS Video membership for qualifying videographers, depending on the qualifying equipment registered with the scheme. Silver - membership is available to photographers who register two qualifying bodies and three qualifying lenses. Repairs to CPS-serviced equipment will also be turned around in five working days. *Qualifying bodies differ per level. Please click here for details of CPS qualifying equipment.
Existing CPS community members are invited to validate and update their details through the CPS website in order to ensure the correct CPS membership has been registered. All existing, unvalidated memberships will expire in June 2010. After this, a new registration will be required and new CPS membership cards will be issued. You should also note that to make sure that all of your qualifying photographic or video equipment is eligible for service you must register it (or re-register it in the case of existing CPS members), as only the registered items can be serviced by CPS support teams. The European countries that are now offering the CPS programme are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.. |
